Infrastructure Track · Hands-on IC
The Role
You keep the platform running. You build the pipelines, manage the infrastructure, and make sure deployments don't break production. When something goes wrong, you're the first responder.
This role is about automation, reliability, and speed. You'll work closely with engineers to make shipping fast and safe.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that deploy code reliably and quickly
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS—provision, monitor, and optimize
- Write Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) that's version-controlled and reproducible
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging so problems are caught before users notice
- Containerize applications and manage orchestration (Docker, ECS/Kubernetes)
- Participate in on-call rotations and own incident response
- Optimize for cost and performance—eliminate waste, improve efficiency
- Automate everything that can be automated—manual toil is a bug
What You Bring
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)—you've built pipelines that teams depend on
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPCs
- Comfort with Linux systems—you can debug from the command line
- AI-native workflows: you use AI tools to accelerate infrastructure automation—but you own what gets deployed
